AMY BOYLE (Elizabeth)

Amy hails from Sarasota, Florida. She began her undergraduate work in theatre at USC before traversing to the University of Northern California to complete her B.A. Since then, she has worked in a number of short films and features, including the action comedy Diamond and Sphinx, and she returned to the stage as Terry in Extremities, directed by Roger E. Moseley. Her hobbies include fencing, martial arts and writing, for all of which Tolkein is in some way responsible. Amy resides with her wolf hybrid in West Hollywood, where she can be seen swinging a broadsword in her spare time.

ALEX CAREY (CW)

Alex Carey is not from Maine. He is, however, very excited to be a part of Great Ideas and wishes to thank his director and his fellow cast members for the opportunity. "Comparable to the difference between loving and being in love, Great Ideas is a story conceived in love and is not just another love story about love, which I love," Alex mumbled recently in an interview with the LA Weekly. Alex believes whole heartedly in telling this particular love story and hopes people all over the internet will see Great Ideas and feel inspired to hire private detectives to stalk their ex loves as he has, so many times before. Special thanks to Bill Reed and the state of Maine.

TOMMY DUNN (Mantu)

Originally from sweet-home Chicago, Tommy trekked across the country to make his bucks at the craps table in Las Vegas. Satisfied with the winnings and scared for his life from the prostitute putting a death threat on his head, Tommy continued on to Los Angeles where he has enjoyed the sun, the beach, palm trees, and living without looking over his shoulder from the prostitute from Egypt and her huge, leaning tower of Pisa of a pimp to pound his face to a pathetic pulp.

Growing up in a suburb called Wheaton, Tommy honed his acting skills by causing trouble and lying his way out of it. Under the guidance of very supporting and loving parents, the theatre discovered Tommy. Unless he was earning straight A's or working as a little league umpire in the off hours of rehearsal, Tommy was at the theatre. After years of the stage as an early adolescent, Tommy was a leading member of the award-winning speech team. Performing at least three times every Saturday for 4 months with countless rehearsals in events ranging from original comedy, dramatic duet acting to verse reading, Tommy enjoyed it all with much success. When it was over, Tommy had accomplished everything he ever wanted in high school.

After graduation, Tommy went on to study both cinema and acting at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Producing multiple films and organizing the largest first year student film festival in school history, Tommy also garnered awards on the stage for Best Supporting Actor his freshman year, and finishing his collegiate career by winning the award for Best Actor on the Main stage.

Excited about Mantu, Tommy has been quoted as saying that the role of Mantu is, "An actor's dream. The crew, the writing, the cast. It's just magical. If everyone had my life, the world would know no war."

Tommy wishes to thank his parents and family, Joe Gerace, Donna Mesina-Lee, Rene Ruelas, Mark Taylor, and the wondrous Bill Reed. Keeps it real, dawgs!

MIKAELA HOOVER (Nikki)

Mikaela Hoover attended Layola Marymount University where she studied Theatre and graduated in 2006. She has recently finished two feature films.
